80's movies title
The movie I am thinking about has to do with a car race at the beginning with 2 guys in leather jackets... It is a chicken race (like in rebel without a cause) The one guy can't get his door open and goes off the edge... Then the guy who died come back as a ghost to help his girlfriend's son be cool and fit in with the cool crowd (he doesn't know that it's actually his son till the end)... By helping the troubled boy the leather jacket wearing guy will get into heaven... The present day in the movie is in high school in the 80's with the typical crazy hair and fashion... I think the title had something to do with Heaven... getting into heaven... or something...
