My ex and I separated last year since then I've had a restraining order on him which is now off including the custody arrangement. A date for the divorce and custody hasn't been scheduled yet. Ive been thinking more and more about moving out of state. I honestly don't feel like I can ever move on with my life nor give my kids a better future if I don't.That along with some personal problems that Im having. Right now their father has them part and I have them part. Until I am settled at least with a job and home out of state I feel like they should stay with their dad but still see them and talk to them. I want to be in the best situation that I can be in before we go for custoday so I do have a chance having my kids that I don't know what I would do with out them. My problem is I don't want it to look bad for the courts with me leaving before the custoday. I don't want it to look like I just up and left them. But If I don't make a change in my life now. I don't know where I will end up. Any ideas on what I should do?

Get your ex's persmission in writing, and filed with the court that he agrees to allow you to move.

Or include it with your paper work.

Since if you move he can protest, file in court and force you to move back, so before you pack the uhaul would you be able to move back if the court ordered you to

The father would never give me the pesmission.. the restraining order just ended and he's still to attached.. there's gota be a way I can start my own life away from him.. hes stalked me way too much its not going to happen again
