Water refill stopped working on new toilet
My new dual flush toilet was squealing when I pushed the flush button but the toilet has worked fine for about one month since the installation. I thought that I would open the water supply valve a little more to see if that would solve the squealing. I turned the valve one half turn more open and now the toilet will not refill at all. There is no water going into the tank. I have closed and re-opened the valve several times but without success. I have added water to the tank using a bucket and the toilet will flush but still will not refill.
    Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Which type of stop did you have, 1/4 turn or several full truns to open?

I am a novice at this but I think it requires several turns to open the valve fully. I normally
Use 2 to 3 full turns and it works fine. The other toilets in the house are unaffected.

Turn the stop off, disconnect the supply line from the bottom of the toilet, slowly turn the stop back on with supply pointed into a bucket to catch water. If there is good water flow there, then you will need to either clean or replace the fill valve in the toilet.
