    Becoming a teacher with a misdemeanor in tresspassing
    I wanted to know if my misdemeanore for tresspassing that occurred over 10 years ago would affect me with trying to become a teacher? Thanks Katie

    I doubt it - that having been said, however, it depends on the School District.

    I already checked with a lawyer and they don't have an answer. That's why I decided to check elsewhere.

    I understand that. That's why I said it will depend on the School Board in your area or wherever you intend to become employed.

    I would verify that you CAN become a teacher before spending the money on a degree which you will not be able to use.

    You can get your degree and teaching certificate, the issue will be "if" a school will hire you.

    Some will, others will now.
