    Ga form 1099 g
My ex husband and I filed our Fed and State Taxes together last year (2008) but have since divorced. He was the primary filer and will not give me a copy of the returns nor provide me with any information. What should I do about reporting the refund from last year?

If you did not itemize your deductions in 2008, you do not use 1099-G (state income tax refund in box 2) amount on your tax return. http://taxipay.blogspot.com/2010/02/...eductions.html
