    I stopped cutting for like two weeks now that's all I can think of what do I do?
    I stopped for like a week but I started dreaming about cutting myself and I had weird day dreams of just stabbing myself I'm addicted. My parents know and are trying to help so is my therapist but its not working I'm cutting again. What do I do?

    Why do you want to hurt yourself? Addiction is hard to defeat. You can do it though. You HAVE to do it. Your only other choice is to die.

    At the first point that you feel the need to cut,call your therapist.

    The only way I could overcome my addiction was to 1) Not take the first step(in my case drinking/drugs) and 2) call my support(in my case a sponsor.)

    You want this to stop,now you must take the steps to end it by reaching out BEFORE you do it.

    Your responsibility is for your needs to be met, the parents and therapist's responsibility is to aid you,especially in your times of need.

    Learning the things that trigger these feelings/needs to cut is a huge step in not repeating them.

    Then learning the coping skills, the way you need to reach out for the help you need,without feeling like you're weak or less than because you want to do what you've always done.

    Once you learn that cutting isn't an outlet,you will begin to understand what the next steps are,namely,the learning of new skills to let out what you have always kept in(and cut over)

    If you are dreaming and becoming preoccupied with cutting,you need closer observation, ask you therapist what you should do as you sound like you are reaching a peak in your desperation.
