    Weird 80's song
    For years I have been trying to find a song I heard once in the early 80's. I don't know quite how to describe it except to say:

    * it was instrumental, no singing, electronic, eerie trance-like music
    * there were strange ambient sounds throughout the song... laughing, etc.
    * I think someone told me it might have been called "The Cube" or "The Box" (or that could be the name of the artist, I don't know)

    It's a long-shot, I know, but I thought I'd ask!

    have you tried Pink Floyd's 'On the Run'? It's on the Dark Side of the Moon album. It is kind of trance like, with some random laughing...

    Nope, that wasn't it, but thanks anyway. The one I'm thinking of was fairly slow in tempo but with a trance/techno beat throughout.
