Memorizing the Quran

Try to learn a little at a time. It is difficult memorize an entire surah (chapter) at once. Take it slow and steady. Learn individual verses.

Repeat it several times.

If you are learning the meanings along with recitation; you could write the verse on a card.
The English transliteration on one side and the Arabic on the other. Carry it with you and practice at various times during the day.


Listen to the recitation of Quran in Arabic.
This is who I listen to mostly Sheikh Mishary Rashed Alafasy
You could try different reciters and choose one which is easier for you to learn by.
