Harbor breeze ceiling fan stops working after circuit breaker
We flipped a couple of circuit breakers to do some electrical work in the room, and when we turned the breakers back on, our Harbor Breeze ceiling fan and light will not work. It is a remote controlled unit and the remote is getting power. It does have pull chains, but I do not see a way to bypass the remote. Help?

The remote gets its power from the batteries inside the hand held unit. Determine which breaker controls this circuit, see if anything else on this breaker is not on. At this point we don't know if you have a breaker issue or a fan issue. You could open the canopy and test the black and white going into the receiver, they should be hot 24/7. Is there a wall switch in this room, if so check it.

Open the fan at the ceiling, remove the receiver, wire the fan without it. I presume it will work from the pullchains.
