    IE keeps kicking me out and stop working.
    IE keeps kicking me out and stop working. I am not sure which version I am using except that I know it isn't 8 as I was having major problems with it and took it off.

    What do you mean that it's kicking you out? Are you getting an error message, does the browser just close down, what?

    If you want the version, go under the Help menu to "About Internet Explorer."

    Could we please have more information to be able to assist.
    Your operating system and IE version would be helpful, as well as any error messages and what you are doing when this happens.
