    Carrier fc4c
    I have a Carrier 38ycc042 outside unit s.n. 2805E48158. The inside unit is a FB4ANF042 s.n.3099A25475 that has a lot of rust on the coils. ( all r22)

    My question is will a FC4CNF042 unit with TXV work as a replacement for the FB4A?
    What changes if any have to made on the outside unit?

    Just want to know I can get a new unit Fc4C at a very good price.
