    Pregnant with no Job, or Home? Is the newborn protected?
    My 21 Year Old is Pregnant with no Job, or Home. She refuses to put the New born
    Up for Adoption. This is all a Ploy to "Trap" the Father.
    Will DCFS take the Child if they find out its not being provided for once it's Born?

    It looks like we won't have a choice. Of course we will fall in Love with it, but we will be in our 60's trying to raise a Baby.
    The Mother is banking on this, regardless of how we feel about it. Its not fair to anyone involved, especially the Child!

    Well, if the mother is truly homeless (meaning not with you or a shelter but literally on the street) then yes they generally will take the child unless the mother moves into a shelter or something. But if she does in fact have a place to live such as with you and she is providing food and clothing then there will be no reason for them to take the child.
