    Change name on deed
My 88 year old father would like to change the name on the deed to his house to his 2 daughters. How would he proceed? Does anyone know of any organizations that assist with legal issues for senior adults?

He should consider adding their names not taking his off, unless of course he is looking at ways to hide assests down the road. ( not hide, but legally transfer with the least tax situation)

But to merely change ownership, if the house is paid for, just a quick claim deed that would be very inexpesive to do. A title company can do it very easy,

If you are living with someone and you own the house, but later decide to put your partners name on the deeds, if the owner dies, will the partner be entitled to the house or will his share be passed onto his children

My husband was placed on my mother in laws deed about 11 years ago but was never recorded I have my copy of paper work from the mortgage company that we filled out the paper work that has his and his mothers signature on the deed is this still a legal binding contract my husband has been making all the mortgage payments for about 9 years on this home he had a good job until recently he got hurt and lost his job which he is now fighting because the company does not want to pay the workmens comp. Then in turn we find out his mother took his name off the deed and but his older brother that has not put one dime into this home is now on the deed and recorded my question is can she take his name off this deed without him knowing this and do I have a leg to stand on if I fight this?
