[Herbs]

Hi,
I have some herbs growing in a pot at the moment and I would like to dry them to use during the year.Do I just cut them off and put them in the sun or shade or?? I have never dried herbs before as you can tell.
Any tips would be a help.

I always clip mine close to the dirt, tie in a bunch with a piece of thread and hang upside down to dry.

Sometimes when I bunch them up as they dry, they fall down because they are shrinking and slip through the string.

I also use quilting thread and a needle just slip through the tops and hang also.:)
