    Did heritage fans become hampton bay?
    Cannot seem to find any information on a Heritage 42" Ceiling Fan. Did they become Hampton Bay?
    It looks like a Home Depot fan and has a model # 35E8. I am curious as to the weight of the fan to know about what size I should get for a new fan...
    Thanks for any help.

    Heritage fans are, sadly, still being made. They are even worse quality than Hampton Bay.

Sku model 858-956. The dipswitches are in the battery compartment. When new batteries were put into the remote control the fan didn't work remotely. I think that the wife hit the switch. If not why doesn't the remote work?
