Maytag legacy series washer sounds very loud on spin
Hi my maytag legacy washer has the same problem as the other preson. The faster it spins the louder it gets . The other thing is I ran a load the other day and when it finished the close were still very wet and there was a small amont of water at the bottom . I set it on a spin cycle and the tub did not spin . I then turned the tub by hand and it seamed to lock back in place or something . It's working now but still very loud compared to when it was new ( its 4 years old ) . HELP thanks Diego daddy

Our refurbished Maytag Neptune washer was so quiet spinning out when we first got it two years ago. Now It is so loud when spinning out, we cannot hear each other talk. What can I do? (This is the same reason we replaced our last washer!) If it matters we do at least 15 loads a week... probably...
I have a Maytag PAV3200AWW washer which recently started making a loud noise during the spin cycle. The sound is constant, varies directly with the speed of the tub spinning, and reminds me of a noisy bearing, or what it might sound like if the tub was trying to spin against the brake. :confused: ...
RE: kenmore 70 series model 110.20712990 Type 111 top load washer. Won't spin. Humming noise and a little burning/hot smell when supposed to be spinning. Bypassing the lid switch did not correct the problem. Changed out the motor coupling with no luck... still a humming noise but no smell.
I have a maytag performa model number 35-5369 it is now making a loud noise and won't spin. Should I trash it or try to fix it ?
