    JD Startup
I have inherited a JD L130 without a manuel. I can't seem to crank it. It turns over well, the parking brake is on and it's full of gas and oil. This mower is only 6 months old and has been sitting up for that time. It has been used only a few times. Please help. Without a manuel, I'm not even sure I haven't surpassed some safety switch. Thanks

Most mowers, you have to hold the clutch brake down (if it has one) sit on the seat firmly, and have the blades disengaged...

It turns over? I'd check for spark from the plug/s

Most safety switches work with the starter solenoid, meaning they will not allow it to crank or spin. I would agree with briggs dude and check for spark, but with the reliability of today's electronic spark (ignition) I would lean towards fuel. Remove air filter and drizzle some raw fuel into the carb and crank it, if it starts and runs or starts and dies you have a fuel related issue.
