We are on an R-1 visa and do not have any income, do we still file taxes?
We have an R-1 visa, but no income in the USA. We are volunteers and all our money (= support) comes from either Canada or the Netherlands. Do we still file taxes? Or fill in any form?

Support/income received from any country while present in the U.S. must be reported on the tax return unless you are in the U.S. for a limited number of days and the income is exempt under tax treaty.
