Am I eligible for standard deduction if stayed less than 180 days
I am from India. I have moved to US on 25 th August 2009. I just need to know if I am eligible for Standard Deduction. One of the agency where I have filed told me that I am not eligible for standard deduction but only Itemized since I stayed less than 180 days in US in 2009. I have planned to file electronically. Am I eligible for that too. Please give me some reliable websites to file online.

    Regards,
    Karthik
