    What is the wiring diagram for AO smith motor GF2024 to an AC plug outlet (three wires - black white and ground)

    If you only have three wires coming out of the motor, and these wires are black, white and green, it depends what you are connecting them to. If you are putting them onto a plug that you can plug into the wall you will put the black wire under one of the screws on the plug and if you will notice one of the screws is darker that the other one so make sure the black goes on the dark screw, put the white wire on the other screw. Now there is a different shaped screw by itself, this where you put the green.

    If you are connecting to a three wire cord they are tied to the cord by colors, black to black, whiite to white and green to green.
