We bought the house together but it's in her name. What happens in a divorce
I deposited 200k into her account for safekeeping. We were not married yet at that time. She took a loan and we bought the house together. The house is in her name. Now we're married. Most of the renovation work came from my money. The marriage has since broke down. Can she chase me out of this house? What are my chances of getting my money back?

What state is this in? How long were you married? Why did you need to put money in HER account for safe keeping?

    Dilemma
I am a Malaysian. I have deposited almost three quarter of the money to buy a matrimonial property which eventually was put into her name. I have bank cheques to prove the transfer of money from my account into hers. We were supposed to get married on August last year but she created an issue to chase me out of the house with a false police report. I wanted to sue her to recover my money. We had a discussion and it was decided that we got married on October. I have moved into the house but she wasn't too happy about it. The house is still in the renovation stages. Currently she's staying in her parents' house. Can she kick me out of the house? Is there a possibility for me to recover the money I had given her?
