    Recovery Console
Hi, I have a Windows XP Intel Pentium D Processor 820 running at 2.8 Ghz, 800 Mhz, and it appears that my computer has crashed after I downloaded some freeware (biggest regret to date). When I select the “start windows normally” and “last good configuration” features my computer goes into a reboot loop. When I select the “safe mode” feature my computer freezes at fsbts.sys. I have a lot of school work and personal information on the computer and at this point reformatting my disk is not an option. Does anyone know the steps for system repair within the recovery console?
