    Who is liable on a bad check my dead mother wrote and I was on the account
    Is my nephew liable for a bad check his mother wrote before she died - he was on the account due to the fact she was dying. Thanks

    Legal responsibility for the payment of the amount attaches to the estate as a civil matter. Bad check charges cannot be enforced against another.
