    Smelly shower drain pipe with standing water in pipe
    I smelled an foul odor in my shower drain. I also can see standing water in the shower pipe. Help!

    The standing water is normal, it means you have a p'trap which is a must. Try dumping some bleach down the drain and let it set overnight, then rinse and see if the smell isn't gone.
