    Slow Drawing Sinks
My home has an upstairs bathroom and an ensuite, plus a powder room on the main floor. In the ensuite, the sink drains extremely slow and can actually overflow if left running. The bath tub also drains slow, the shower and toilet are fine. No other sinks in the house are problems.

I have used draino but switched to enzyme based cleaners as I heard they were better dor the environment. None do a good job although they work for a day or so. I have removed the trap below the skin and it is actually quite clean (probably all the draino I have used). The house is 8 years old, we have only been in it a year and it was not nearly this bad when we bought it.

I assume that the problem is somewhere down the line, the basement is unfinished so I can see all the pipes down there. What's my next step? I'm handy and will try anything.

    Thanks in advance.

Stay away from the Draino, you have blockage in the drain and you need to snake it from the roof vent, good luck.
