Finding obolete snowlower parts (# 581645-854 and #318532-854)
The augeres in my F2484-020 snowblower were shattered and I can't find replacement parts. The blower is no longer made. Any sugegstions of a place to fine used or salvaged parts? The motor and everything else is fine, so I hade to junk the blower.

If I can't find the parts, any suggestions on how to get some cash for the blower rather than junk it?

    Hi,
You may be able to get a machine for spare parts on craigslist or eBay. I looked several places including a US/Canadian clearing house for surplus/obsolete parts. None were found. The last three digits are the paint code (color) and some places did not allow searches with it and some required it. At any rate it was eventually replaced by "E701" at the end of the first six digits for both numbers meaning it was available in black only.
    Good luck.
    Peace,
    Clarke
PS They are only the kind of part a distributor was liable to stock.
