Going back to college with a full-time job and two children is going to be rough, regardless of what you major in. You didn't expect it to be easy, did you?

No one can tell you if accounting is going to be hard for you. Most people don't like it, but for some people it makes sense and just works for them. Otherwise you don't major in it. It's an applied subject, so you don't just read and memorize. You read in pieces, think, do, and do and do some more. Lot of homework.

In the end, trying to do that much at once is not going to be an easy task. You need to decide if you're up for it, and if so, you'll have to find a way to make the time to do the work, and be ready to give up some of your life for a time. It's the sacrifice you make if you want the degree.
