Rite temp 8030c heat and heat 2
I have a rite temp 8030c thermostat and when the heat is on the display blinks heat and then after sometime the display blinks heat 2. from what it seems, heat 2 does not warm the house quick enough. I turned the unit off/reset it, and at first the heat would be on blinking and then the display blinks heat 2. do I have a problem with the thermostat or furnace. I really do not know much about this stuff.

I have the same model Rite Temp and I'm having the same issue right now. We live in Chicago and the temps have been getting near zero at night. Did you find a solution to the "Heat 2" problem? I've done the same things you explained (turning it off, resetting) and it doesn't work. We have our heat set to 69 degrees but the heat doesn't kick on after the house reaches 64degrees. Kind of strange and a little chilly! If you have any answers, I'd love to hear them. I can't seem to find any solutions in the troubleshooting for RiteTemp!
    Thanks, Jill

I too have a rite temp 8030c thermostat and when the heat is on the display blinks heat and then after sometime the display blinks heat 2. My furnace does not have a second stage... heat 2 just shuts the furnace off..

I was hoping to find an answer, what we seem to have here are more of us with the same problem.. Hope somneone chimes in...
