    How can you unfreeze the blades of the heat pump from the DC blizzard?
    The blades are caked in ice. Is there a safe way to unfreeze them?

    If they are that frozen, don`t think your heatpump is going to do much good anyway,use the emer. Heat

    Yep... when opts that cold, and that frozen it is doing you NO GOOD. Take a break, turn the emerge heat on and go to FLA for the weekend.
