I recently bought a new Samsung LCD TV to replace an existing DLP TV. I connected the TV with an HDMI cable to the cable box (provided by Comcast) and the TV works fine. Here is the problem: I also have a Bose theater/DVD system. I was told the HDMI cable only had to be connected from the TV to the comcast box (motorola) and the dvd player would work. I tried that, but the dvd player will not put out a video signal (but I do get sound) The old TV had an S-video connection that I used to connect directly to the Bose player. However, the new TV does not have an S-video connection and the Bose player does not have an HDMI connection. What do I need to do to fix the issue. Looking for a solution.

Model numbers please. Also let us know if you are willing to buy new cables for better picture/sound. If not, then we will need to know what cables you have available.
