    Hooking battery power to the wire on the solenoid that is from the ignition may work. Unless there are safety switches on the ground side of solenoid.
    Any bypassing or Overriding of something can make it Unsafe, unless you are aware of the dangers and how to deal with them.
    Could start and run someone over if in gear.
