    Grandparents Rights
My boyfriend and I are engaged, getting married in June. My fiancé and I get a great income and we have decided that we can support a child. We have talked and decided to have kids in the next year or so. My Fiance's mother is the HUGE issue here. She and his step-father talk a lot of BS behind my back and tell him that he can do so much better. I am the only girlfriend he has ever had that will stick up for myself and put his mother in her place when needed to be. I respect her very much, though I get no respect back. My Fiancé and I are very much fed up with it. We have decided that our child will be nowhere near her. Here is why.. . She left my fiancé including his 2 brothers (whom she has no custody of) in a hotel room alone for a week, and she left them with their father (who was and is still very abusive) to go traveling with some random guy she met on the internet. Because of this, we feel it is not safe for our child to be around her what so ever. Is there anyway that she has rights to see our child? The reason I am asking this is because she taunts us, threatens my fiancé as well as I, and maybe a restraining order is in mind? We will fight and do whatever we have to do possible so that she cannot see our child. But we want to make sure that there is no way she can get around it. Anybody have any information on that? This is my fiancé and mines future, I could use some help on this. Thank you, and god bless.

She also says that when or if we have children, she will get custody over her/him and take the child away from us. She says that she has Grandparents rights to the child. I will not stand for this what so ever.
