    Remove old tub cartridge
I have a moen tub faucet and it's likely 30 years old. I can't get it out. I have a cartridge puller but on my model there is a stainless front piece with 2 protrusions that the handle fit over to control temperature range(?). So the cartridge puller does not work. This is a singel handle system with no diverter. The diverter is on the spout. I've tried pulling with needlenose but can't seem to get enough of a grip and am worried I will damage the plumbing in the wall. Any suggestions?
