If you have low memory, the last thing you want to do is add a program. You need to clean out the hard drive. Delete anything you don't need anymore, or find a way to store it elsewhere.

If I understand you correctly, your computer is running slow and low on memory. All applications require a certain amount of ram to function properly. I would first delete any applications/periperals (if possible) that you no longer use.

You can also use a freeware program called maxmem. AnalogX MaxMem is a realtime physical memory management program that automatically ensures that you always have as much physical memory available as possible. Download here:

    Hope this helps.

Yes, I agree. Uninstall any and all applications you no longer use. This will free up some of your memory resources.

There are a number of trial apps. That 'tune-up' your computer. However, as hheath541 mentioned, you should probably refrain from (permanently) adding additional programs.

I have found TuneUp Utilities Version 2010 to be very effective. You can download and install on a trial basis, clean your computer, and then uninstall as you see fit.

Additionally, I would suggest maxmem. MaxMem is a memory management program that automatically ensures that you always have as much physical memory available as possible. It has an extremely small 'footprint' (338.61K) and the benefits to you system outweighs the resources that it consumes. Free download here:
