I just came from the wake. The person who died had a house and a car
And a bank life insurance policy, etc. and she did tell them she had a
Will but no one can find it. Is it filed somewhere. I told the nephew
(she never married) that I would try and help. Any suggestions.

Most likely she may have used a lawyer to write one. Id look through the paperwork and see if an exist.

Find all her banks, and see if there is a safety deposit box, look for some hidden place in the home.
Look though all of her records for attorneys she may have used, and check with them for a copy.

During the next year, all sorts of records and bills will be mailed to her, they may be bank, safety deposoit box payments or even christmas cards from attorney offices.
