    Lexmark X4650 sharing
Hi, I have Xp on my desktop PC with a Lexmark X4650 via wifi and I now have a laptop with Vista and have linked this to my Linksys wireless router so I can access the internet and want to share the Lexmark printer to use with both printers but cannot figure out how to do this.

The printer is set-up for sharing on the desktop and my laptop cannot find the printer what I scan for it on the laptop.

What steps do I have to take to solve this problem and please be as specific as poss.

I think all you have to do is run the printer install CD in your laptop and select something like "add additional computer". It will install the drivers in the laptop but not go through all the printer setup stuff that you did initially. You don't need to share the printer on the desktop PC because the laptop will talk directly to the printer on the wifi.

    Hope this helps,
