Is there any homemade remedy that you can inject under a puupies skin for rehydration. No vet because of the holiday. Could pedialyte be used injected underthe skin for rehydration, he is not keeping anything down, nothing I have tried. Heeeeelllllppp me please!!

Warm milk. NO injections!! Just constantly make sure they are drinking warm milk. MANY BATHS too. Cozy beds. Kind of like bed rest. Let them choose when they don't need it anymore. Like if they get up and walk around, let them.

Put some baby oil or olive oil, on the water when you give a puppies a bath, that should help them.

Keep trying to get them to drink the Pedailyte. I am afraid the first 2 posts were useless or worse. You may need to find emergency care for them today. If your vet doesn't have an emergency number, start with the regular number. I would not sugest injecting anything as a home remedy.

Definitely, Labman... These are small dogs which means they have almost no extra reserves of fluids... but NO injections should be tried at home.

If they won't drink the water or pedialyte, you can mix in a tiny bot of broth to see if that tempts them, but they need MEDICAL ATTENTION right away...

Dehydration will kill puppies very quickly.

DO NOT inject anything under the skin unless it is from the vet!! Just injecting something is NOTsterile and can/will cause bacterial infections!
    Do NOT give milk!
Giving lots of bathes to sick, dehydrated puppies is also a very BAD idea. You can not rehydrate from the outside in. Keep up the Pedilyte and get to the vet asap!! Soak any food they are eating in water or go get puppy replacement milk. You can also try High-Cal which is a supplement for ill pets that aren't getting all the nutrients they need. There has to be at least one vet open for ER, Find them!
