Sears kenmore refrigerator setting of temp. dial
My fridge is a model 252.60802400. When we moved in it was already set at this temp. I cannot tell which part of the dial is the point at which you move to cold or colder. We have tried all different directions and it freezes everything or I end up cutting it off instead. The markings are not clear. Please help.

Sears Refrigerator 1067655220 not cooling. I replaced the start relay, may not be the original part. The compressor got hot and was blowing cool air inside compartment. The overload would click off and on. Then the refrigerator quit working. Thanks
