Low water pressure in one end of the house
My house is ten years old, and the water pressure has been great. However, my kitchen faucet began leaking, and the single-handle faucet mechanism began wearing out. While this was going on, the water pressure, especially for my hot water, was reducing over time in that sink.

I had a plumber come out and install a new faucet I bought at Lowe's. Now, while the faucet works fine, the water pressure did not get any better. In fact, it's gotten worse over the past two weeks, and not only in the kitchen, but also in the laundry room, where the plumbing is on the same wall as the kitchen.

It seems now that all water pressure is low in one end of my house (kitchen and laundry room), while only the hot water pressure is low in the other end (bathrooms/showers/tubs).

I no longer believe the faulty faucet had anything to do with this problem, it was only coincidental that the faucet broke as this problem was developing.

Any ideas/suggestions on what my next step should be?

    Thanks.
