    Gmc yukon door locks
In my 98 yukon I can unlock the doors using the passenger side door switch but not the drivers. I took the switch from the drivers door and was able to use on the passenger side so I know it's not the switch and has to be in the wires. Anybody know the schematics or hot wires or anything I should be looking for?

All doors will unlock when the passenger switch is used, it's just the driver switch will not work at all for some reason.

Power and ground for the passenger side switch goes through the Master's (Driver's) switch. If the system functions from the passenger's switch, the circuit is good. If the system cannot be switched from the Master switch, replace the master switch. Call around for pricing.

If you cycle the switch and spray an electronics cleaner into the switch area, you may clean the corroded contacts.

By testing the locks on the passenger side with a test light I found my hot wires I needed to be looking for in the drivers side. Checked the drivers to find no power and traced them into the driver kick panel to find they were split. Reconnect and I have locks again.
