Yes, (the top dogs) seen televised on media news recently released new disturbing news that our govt is preparing for what they agree is going to be an imminent attack.. so I guess we need a more secure national program but.. it is my opinion and as with the majority of unwarey citizens that these associations are in a sense here because they are in business to feed their own through high paying jobs.. that is why a lot believe in the 9/11 conspiracy.. I do not think any Washington intelligence deliberation attacked its own people, just doubt they cared if enough for the 3k who were sacrificed for what appears to be an act of international corporate governance or a deliberated step towards a one sided socialist one world order. It appears after ten years that the picture in this puzzle is coming together. I'm surely not for war but it is the direction we are going and no way turning back! Think it is because we ourselves made too many casualties.. we are failing as a super power.. our nation is too divided! Too many have been victimized by the patriot program and self serving pigs in my opinion.. anyway, that is my honest opinion!

why did we get a patriot act program?

We got the Patriot Act because after we were attacked they decided to crack down on US instead of going after the bad guys. I don't know WHY they did that.

Instead of weakening the rights of American citizens, which is what the Patriot Act did, and is exactly what Al Quaida wants, I would have strengthened them.

Dude, us who work in IT as a job and who enjoy tinkering as a hobby can pretty deny this assertion as pure paranoia. It's not difficult to trace what programs "call home" by monitoring ports. Many avid people test new programs for security violations and share their findings with the community. Stop spreading unfounded fear by doing your own research first or asking questions from experts before posting this stuff.
