    Septic tank is at the back of house,two commodes and dishwasher all run in same pipes
    Bedroom commode at back of house is stopped up also commode at front of house. Our kitchen in the middle dishwasher is still draining.. what could be the problem?

    If both toilets are stopped up the first thing I would check is the septic tank.
    Remove the clean out cover and flush a toilet. If water comes out of the clean out you either have a clog in the septic line or the tank needs pumping. Good luck, Tom

    etxhome... problem solved... woke up today,water through out house.. I thought the dishwasher was draining in septic tank,wrong,. it was filling up shower, bathtub,commodes and then running out on floor... called plumber he ran rotorooter thing and broke loose the blockage it was a LARGE HAIRBALL.. THAT HAD SHUT THE PLUMBING SYSTEM DOWN... now the problem is to figure out how to prevent this in the future... any ideas that would solve this delimia :o

    Tom, you are right on the money, the plumber found a blockage,but he also suggested having the septic tank pumped.. THANKS, for your help
