    Wife ssn necessary for jointly tax filing
    I was in us from jan 2009 to nov 2009 and in between my wife came to us for one and stayed with me.I want to file my US tax jointly(married) for the year 2009,could you please let me if I need my wife's SSN no to file tax retun jointly.

    You can attach W-7 (ITIN application) for your spouse with the tax return.
