I have a 56 amp, 208 volt ceramic kiln that I need to hook up to residential service. It's basically an overgrown toaster oven. Is this even possible and if so what effect will it have on the equipment?

Where can I get a good 240 line volt thermometer? The one installed in my attic (bedroom) is a beastly clunky p.o.s. with a big dial that's hard to turn. Can I get a nice digital one? I haven't found a good one yet. Thanks!

The 240 line that was installed for my oven is just about 3 inches to short to allow the plug to rest in the recessed area of the range.
