Can you wire a socket ring main by glanding two firetuff cables in the top of one metal clad socket, then bush and coupler to another underneith. One leg passing through the top socket to get to the bottom socket then back up to the top or gland one in the top socket and one in the bottom and a link between

Sorry, but Ring Main systems are used in the UK, and perhaps Europe. Most, if not all, answering questions here are only familiar with North America wiring and practices.
