Me and my boyfriend have just got back together,we were together for 2 and a half years and have a beautiful 2 yr old daughter,we were going threw a rough patch and arguing a lot.taking each other for granted as they say,well we had been on and off but we love each other so much that we always found each other again.we broke up after a row and he left me,we were good friends to start with until we became distant with each other.I suppose we got frustrated with the fact that we didn't know what was going on.anyway we both got partners at the same time and that's when we wasn't on good terms,he seemed happy with this girl who was also his ex that he only went out with for a couple of months,but because of Facebook they got in touch again,which I did with mine also,he was saying how he was going to marry her and how happy he is on Facebook and even told me that,id tell him the same about mine which I really was happy with him and felt like it was time to move on,then he dropped a bombshell saying she was pregnant after a month of being with her,so I thought it was really over and that we were both ready to move on [for good],and when I actually started to really be happy and like my boyfriend,even though I still loved my ex suddenly my ex was texting me with kisses at the end and calling me babe and stuff,even though he sometimes did when he was with her anyway.but it felt strange so I checked his FB to find he is single,I was so shocked it had only lasted a 6 weeks.they split up for some reason.then he started talking to me on Facebook and telling me how much he loved me and that he didn't feel it at the time but he thinks he was on the rebound,he said he thought of me when she was in the same room as her and was trying his hardest not to call her by my name.at this point I realized that I didn't have feelings for my boyfriend and I ended things with him,I wasn't planning on getting back with my ex but it just happened and its been amazing.maybe everything that has happened is going to make us stronger,I don't know but what I want to know is if my ex was telling her he loved her than do you really believe someone could love someone within a month on the rebound.also I'm sure your thinking about it so I have asked him and he says this girl he was with has told him she is aborting his baby.

I think you both had rebounds, and since they didn't work, now you think you can get back with each other.

Can't see it working as neither of you has given yourselves the time to think, and not just feel.

Yes they can because words are easy, but actions are much harder. What I don't believe is neither of you going back with exes after a break up, (still rebounds for you both) breaking up, and being anything but a rebound, from a rebound, unless your both still young, and in (high) school.

Then its okay to bounce back and forth between partners.

If you're an adult, you really should leave each other alone and be single long enough to stop bouncing back and forth between partners.
