Do you have 2 wall switches by the door? If so, most likely you have 2 circuits--black/white and red/white. One circuit controls the fan and the other circuit controls the light.

If you have a voltage tester, I'd do the following:
    1. Check voltage between black and white
    2. Have assistant flip one wall switch -- see if voltage changes
    3. Have assistant flip the second switch -- see if voltage changes
    4. Check voltage between red and white
    5. Have assistant flip one wall switch -- see if voltage changes
    6. Have assistant flip the second switch -- see if voltage changes

What I would expect is that one switch will have an effect on one pair of wires and the other switch will have an effect on the other pair. If this is the case, then you can hook up the fan as so (after killing the power):
    1. Ceiling white to Fan white
    2. Ceiling black to Fan black
    3. Ceiling red to Fan blue

If you're anal-retentive like me and want the other switch to control the light, just switch the black and blue fan wires.

Note: if the voltage test does not behave as expected, I'd NOT hook this up until more investigation is done.

    Hope this helps,
