I have a passion for construction and working with home improvements however I don't have any official training in this area. Does anyone know a trade school or online school in the Maryland/ DC area that specialized in construction?

I make countertops here in fla. The way I started was to first go to an employer and tell them you want to learn a trade. The took the time to teach me . All lot of employers want labors and will train you to do a trade. Call around it's a great way to get paid and learn. I cleaned a lot of saw dust and learned a little at a time, now I can make laminate countertops from start to finish, and I am learning installing now. Plumbers also look for help and will teach you. Your local phone book is the best tool to use first.
