My hair has become way to dark the stylist I was going too kept using 5nn mixed with another color not sure what that was? The result is waaaay too dark for me I am so unhappy I have tons of grey to hide and I just want to go back to my orig color of dark brown/auburn how can I do this I have been using Paul mitchell 3 claryfing shampoo it has stripped the color out some but not what I was told it would do what color should I be using on my hair and how long will this take to get out of my hair if ever. You should have it removed professionally with an oil bleach that is less damaging. If the color put on is a permanent color this is the only way, although it will fade a little on its own with time. Another tint will not be able to lift a permanent tint and a clarifying shampoo only removes buildup on the hair such as hair spray and minerals, etc. Good luck. You might also try some highlights if you don't want to bleach out the whole head.
