    Honeywell wireless W8665a 1009
I currently have a Chromotherm IV plus thermostat. The order of wires are yellow to Y, White to W, Green to G, Blue to R and Red to RC. I just purchased the honeywell wireless model as noted above. I assume Y to Y, W to W and G to G. However, the back of the new unit has the designations R then C then RZ with a jumber pre-installed from R to RZ How do I install the red and blue remaining wires?
    Thank you.
    Best,
    Larry

See the sticky on common thermostat problems at the top ot the H&C forum. If you have 2 transformers, you want the one which has a wire directly to the heat valve to have its other wire connected to the R or RH terminal. The one that has a wire going out to the outside A/C compressor should have the other one connected to the RC or maybe in your case, the RZ. If you only have one transformer, one wire will go to the outside unit and gas valve often labeled C or com, and the other goes to R or RH and is jumpered to RC, RZ?
